What is dandruff?

A person’s entire body surface continuously sheds dead cells from its surface. Shedding cells at an excessive rate (abnormal rate) from the scalp leads to the condition commonly known as dandruff. There are 2 different causes of dandruff- Internal and External. Internal reasons are Hormonal imbalances, poor health, poor hygiene… etc. External reasons are excessive use of hair spray and gels, cold weather, infrequent shampooing… etc.
